A month of silence

Core, not updated this for a while.. What have I been up to? Well, I've been insanely busy with a month of partying and working and no time for blogging. It's been good fun, involving an attempted naked run/swim from Gdynia to Helsinki which would have been achieved had the damn aussie not have been acting like such a girl! Also a Friday night to Monday 5 am party with "Paluch" from HC, visiting just about every bar in Warsaw.

I also graffiti'd Martyna's wall with humorous drunk bullshit.. last weekend I practically died.. they had an offer on in Biker's 20zl for all the beer you can drink.. now that for me, is a bloody good offer..works out at 1zl a beer basically.

Bloody rough beer though, resulting in everyone who was their puking up (some people in the bar still, others at the train station).. and the ones who had been drinking heavily were fortunate to survive the next two days of non-stop vomiting. Disgusting and not great fun! I tried to blame it on a kebab, could not believe that a friendly beer could do such damage.

Erm, I was in a car crash a few weeks back on the way back from the party in Trojmiasto, some insane polish driver just launched himself from one side of the highway to another crashing into two cars and finishing in a ditch. One of those cars happened to be us, we had to wait for ages for the scuffers to come and when they finally did they were interested to extort money from us because "our lights were broken" (because of the crash).. fucking idiots.

I visited Warsaw Zoo for the first time yesterday, it's quite reasonable really.. not what I expected. After watching some of them playing, I decided I really like Coatamundi's. They are damn cool animals. After the zoo a drinking session started in Pole Mokotowskie, which is now live and kicking as it is when the temperature goes above 15 degrees. Had a few beers with Sylwia and some other guys, then her friend brings me to this tent where they're selling organic alcohol and the blokes need a hand packing up.. so they give me an organic beer, five glasses of organic honey vodka, an enormous jar of alcoholic cherries and cherry liquour, some bizarre ogorek type things or maybe they were pickled mushrooms, I was a bit too pissed to work out really and by the time we'd finished they had packed up anyway.

I highly recommend their produce though, good stuff it is. No hangover this morning.

Fucking fascists in Merlin wouldn't let us enter with the dog unless he had a muzzle on but we go in anyway, then the guy starts complaining that he is spilling beer. What an utter wanker, the dog is having a sleep under the table and the cunt is telling us that he's knocked some drunk guys beer over on the other side of the bar. I'd made friends with some friendly chavs and they were not happy about this and were looking forward to fighting with the bouncer. Some of us managed to calm them down and the guy left, only to go and start bothering Sylwia (who was dancing) about the dog.. she asks the bouncer for proof that Sniffy has spilt the beer and the guy seems a bit confused and eventually buggers off.

Generally though, Merlin is not a bad pub (good caraoke).. and you can normally bring your own beers in without anyone caring too much.

I recently discovered..

British Hamster Association
P.O. Box 825
Sheffield
S17 3RU
United Kingdom.

London might have The Eye and Liverpool have The Beatles but we have conferences for hamsters, something really to be proud of!

More quality music for you to listen to: Zombina and The Skeletones (a band recommended to me by my mate Perry last year), The Madmen.. a legendary croatian rockabilly band http://www.geocities.com/band_mad_men/home.html that I saw last year in Zagreb in a huge warehouse turned into a rock bar not too far from the club"Spunk"
